ABOUT

Lisa Cunningham’s life took a transformative turn after the passing of her father in 2006. At the time, she was thriving in the entertainment industry, directing and producing hundreds of music videos, but behind the scenes she felt spiritually, mentally, and physically depleted. That loss sparked a deeper awakening. While caring for her mother, Lisa began to take inventory not only of her own life but also of the healthcare system itself.
Through that intimate caregiving experience, she witnessed firsthand the inequities shaping health outcomes, particularly for Black families. What began as a personal reckoning grew into a mission to use her creative voice, strategic mind, and storytelling gifts to advocate for generational health and equity.
Today, Lisa is a nationally recognized marketing strategist, award-winning film director, and fearless advocate. She brings her unique perspective to campaigns, films, and partnerships that expand awareness, strengthen community connections, and promote generational well-being. As a speaker, she encourages others to reflect, realign, and design lives rooted in authenticity and wellness—choosing every day to grow, give, and lead with intention.
